Magic Man

Have you noticed that when you are discussing the character and/or performance of our exalted ruler, more often than not the response to some effective jab on your part is, “Well, you know, Bill Clinton [or Hillary, or Obama, or whoever] did something much worse.”

The Donald is adept at misdirection, and his army of surrogates have learned from him. Whenever anyone brings up something they don’t want to address, they merely change the subject.

It’s like saying to the judge, “But Your Honor, I only killed three people. Jeffrey Dahmer killed 17.”

What these people fail to realize is that the behavior of one cannot be excused by the behavior of another. Unless, I guess, your name is Donald J. Trump.
